• If you are an immediate relative, of a US citizen, you qualify for immigration into the United States. This option is limited to spouses of U.S. citizens, parents of U.S. citizens and unmarried children of U.S. citizens who are under 21 years of age. • If you are the unmarried adult son or daughter of an American citizen, you fall into the top preference category. Your ability to obtain a children's visa will be subject to a yearly quota.
