Employment/Business Immigration
If you are a foreign worker and wish to emigrate to the United States, there are many different types of visas that will allow you to become a permanent resident through employment, including
H2B visas. An H2B visa is for purely temporary work, such as a one-time need, seasonal work, or peak-load requirements. If you are a worker, I will help you can apply directly for an H2b visa. If your H2B visa application is approved, you may bring your spouse and any unmarried children under 21 into the United States on an H4 visa.
H1B visas. An H1B visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows you to work in the United States for up to 6 years. As a foreign worker, however, you cannot apply for an H1B visa. The employer for whom you plan to work must file the application. If you are an employer who seeks to bring foreign talent to your company through an H1B visa, I can help you properly file all the required documents.
J1 visas. A J1 visa is issued to an exchange visitor from another country who is participating in an approved exchange program. J1 visas are generally issued to business trainees, teachers, professors, research scholars, medical residents and certain specialists. If you qualify for a J1 visa, you must file an application with the U.S. Consulate in your home country.
L visas. An L1 visa allows a company with operations in the United States and abroad to transfer foreign employees to the United States for up to 7 years.
E visas. An E1 or an E2 visa may be used to allow a foreign national to trade with companies in the United States or to invest in a commercial enterprise in America.
Green cards. A green card will give you permanent resident status in the United States. I will help you understand when a green card may be available because of employment status and will take the necessary steps to help you obtain one. Typical Green Card Visas through work are EB-1 through EB-4 (for people with various skills and experience).
